Frequently Asked Questions
What will my child learn in the drone classes?
Playto labs drone classes teach everything kids should know about drones including Aerodynamics, Flight Mechanics, Strucutures, Propulsion, Electronics, and Coding. Your child will learn about Fixed Wing Aircraft (regular passenger aircraft), Rotary wing aircraft (Helicopter), Quadcopters (Delivery Drones with 4 motors), Rockets and Satellites. Your child will work hands-on on the kit sent to your home and build drones and program them.
What if my child misses a class?
Since our classes are live 1:1, the instructor can only conduct sessions when your child is present. If your child is unable to attend a scheduled class, you can reschedule it to a time that works best for you. Simply contact the instructor to arrange a new session at your convenience.
What is the best age for kids to start learning drones?
The best age to start learning drones is around 8 years old. At this age, kids can handle the components easily and begin developing technical skills early on. Starting at this age allows them to build a strong foundation in drone technology and related skills as they grow.
Will a course completion certificate be provided for kids?
Yes, your child will receive a certificate upon completing the drone course. The certificate will be provided to you after the course is completed.
